When I traveled in the past, I abandoned all my workouts along with healthy eating. I had all the excuses in my head.

Then I use to get home and it felt like I fell so far behind that I felt like I was having to start over. It really bummed me out!

But that all changed since doing home workouts and having the Netflix of fitness right at my fingertips. I wanted to prove that it was possible to have it all. That you can stay healthy, strong and fit, and also have an amazing vacation! Plus saying yes to a few drinks, eating local food, and live in the moment while on vacation. And doing all the fun stuff that made you want to travel in the first place.

Me personally I love doing workouts that are quick and easy and require no equipment especially when traveling. This past vacation I went on, I took my iPad and did my 20 minute workouts daily. They were so quick and easy and I had an amazing view! Seriously 20 minutes for a whole body workout? Yes please!!!

Even going for walks is a fantastic way to start building a healthy body. It’s exercise that doesn’t really feel like exercise. Another Tip skip the elevator and take the stairs!

Other things that help me while on vacation is to eat real food (most of the time.) I don’t rely on meal timing or calorie counting.

Most of all I do the best that I can.

We only get one chance in life, and we only have one body to do it in, so we should take care of ourselves.
